FLIP IT

FLIP IT is a DIY flip book kit. The target audience is young teens with an interest in dark and “edgy” art. The kit is designed to inspire and provide all of the supplies for flip book beginners. The package itself also doubles as a container to hold index cards, flip books, and a light box. Instructions and pictures are included on the back of the box.

RAMEN RUNNER

The Ramen Runner food truck concept provides ramen to university students in Raleigh, NC. The goal is to serve affordable, quality ramen on selected days at multiple university campuses.

EYES WIDE OPEN

Eyes Wide Open involved a collaboration with a fellow student photographer. We worked together from start to finish including concepts, design, scheduling, styling, and shooting. This campaign for an androgynous clothing brand concept. The logo shows a female and a male figure forming an eye and doubling as the “O” in the words “Eyes Wide Open.” The posters and magazine spread use the same outfit, but it is swapped between the models to show the clothing brand is for everyone and is inclusive to all genders. The brand has both gender neutral and neutral color themes.

TALARIA

Talaria is a travel agency app concept for popular historical spots in Greece. The name, “Talaria,” stands for “Talaria of Mercury,” which is the shoes of the Greek messenger god Hermes. The Talaria of Mercury enabled Hermes to travel between gods, so it is a fitting name for a travel agency.

INTERNSHIP

These designs were created for an internship at Stir Creative Group. The top left are T-shirt designs for Natty Greens, a local bar and restaurant hosting a Halloween event called “Barks and Brews”. Customers could dress up their dogs and bring them to the event. The top right is a group effort of redesigning and formatting 30+ apartment floor plans in Illustrator and inDesign. The bottom left reveals a manufacturer’s logo design for Riverside Technical Sales. The bottom 2nd over is an apartment complex logo mocked up on the wall of their clubhouse. The bottom right is one of the several community maps designed for the multi family industry, all created using Adobe Illustrator.

The center poster is a simple infographic about the life of a star. The left poster is about Neville Brody, a graphic designer and typographer. It shows some of his popular fonts and fun facts through a timeline of information. The right poster is about Gestalt’s Principle of Similarity. The theme is on betrayal, which includes a poem by Grace A. Marino.

SEED PACKAGING

The Red Spider Lily is a seed packaging concept. In Buddhist writings, this flower is said to guide the dead through Samsara, the cycle of rebirth. It is associated with death and has become an extremely popular symbol in anime. The packaging is designed for a target audience that knows of the flower from anime.

STELLER SAM

Stellar Sam is branding based on the qualities, personality, and identity of a chosen colleague. Stellar Sam features a bright, bold and intelligent look that makes a sophisticated but fun statement.
